Thanks to Stuart Berg for suggesting this important link. We all know that the enjoyment of our games is dependent upon not only the talent of our players, but also the quality of our coaching. However, Stuart reminds us that in order to support our teams, it is essential that we promote competent and quality umpiring.
Toward that end and because so many of our games are umpired by coaches and volunteer parents, Stuart has provided us with the 'essentials of the game' for umpires.
