What a great game played tonight! The Tigers jumped out to an early 8-1 lead behind the great pitching of Jason C. The Athletics never gave up and came back to take the lead in the top of the fifth 10-8. The A's added two more runs in the top of the sixth, but were unable to push any more across after three great 1-2 putouts by the Tigers. Dominic C. came on in relief of Cole in the bottom of the sixth and with the tying run on third was able to get a comebacker to end the game. Three hours of baseball played by two teams who really left everything on the field.
