The Reds got off to a quick 2 run first inning off of Devon Patry. The Red Sox came right back and went ahead. Devon started to pitch harder but the Reds turned on the hit switch. The Red Sox came racing back to tie the game 7-7. that's when the Big Red Machine went into high gear and put five runs on the board. Every Red had a hit or walk and 8 hits on two strike counts, coupled with some key defensive plays decent pitching made it tough for the Sox. Game ball to Andrew Saxton who after being hit in the face in a previous game played a mean first base, pitched in relief and was 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI.
