After 2 shutdown innings by Tigers pitchers and a cushion a 4 runs the Reds went to reliever Jacob Vargas who pitched the next 4 innings delivering 14k and retiring 14 of 15 batters in a row all by strikeout. The Reds offense went into high gear on the back of a two out two strike 2 rbi double by PJ Corey. This led to a 4th inning explosion which involved an ITP Grand Slam by Jaylen Willis on 2 strikes immediately followed by a Stand Up Triple by Elizabeth Horton which led to a final of 14-4 and the reds 6th win
