Game was called due to the RED light at the top of the 6. The score was tied at the end of the 5th inning (6-6), and the Red Sox took a 3 run lead in the top of the 6th inning (9-6). Game to be continued at the top of the 6th with the Red Sox at bat with 2 outs and 2 strikes on the batter.

Update - April 6, 2013

The game continued between the Giants and the Red Sox. We continued in the top of the 6th with 2 outs and 2 strikes on the batter. 2 pitches later and the Red Sox were out. Up came the Giants were their eye on a late game comeback, and it almost worked. They scored 1 run to make it 9-7 and then loaded the bases with no out. It was looking bleak until the Red Sox pitcher Brady induced a pop up out that turned into a double play. Brady was then able to strike out the last batter to seal the game. I think we escaped with a win. And now on to game 2 with the Giants. Hopefully it’s as exciting and close as this one.
