The A's Josh Kiyoi had his teams only score with an In The Park Homerun. The A's managed to defend well and hold the Reds scoreless for five innings. It wasnt until two outs in the fifth when the Home team Reds' Lizzie Horton had a crushing double to left center wich put her in scoring position. The Reds' Josh Molina was next at bat with two strikes and hit a blistering double up the middle to score a run and tie the game. The Reds' Zack Durst was next up and hit a High fly to third base, but Josh Kiyoi of the A's snagged it to end the inning and the game with a tie. A huge save for the A's.
