Slowest game of the season. Barely got 4 innings. The A's played very hard and showed a lot of heart. The Cubs got some great hits including a home run by Cooper "The Big Hurt" Kawalkowski. Harry Tooze made two great plays at first to end the game and Jack Bowen made a great play at third. The Cubs were chanting "WE WANT THE GIANTS" in the parking lot after the game. Counting the days! As for the field.....Bob Perry.....'nuff said!
