The Cardinals and Reds faced in what was an epic ball game. Ryab Costeau and Matthew Herron pitched tremendously the first two innings. Mitch Hofer came on to continue the Cardinals momentum with great pitching. The score remained tight all the way to the 6th inning when the Reds were finally able to put a rally together and finished the inning with 7 runs. Joshua Gutierrez came in and pitched two shut out innings in the 5th and 6th to secure the win.
