The tigers jumped out to an early 3 - 1 lead with solid hitting in the first 2 innings and added a run in the top of the 4th to extend their lead to 4 - 1. The Mets came up to bat in the last inning and rallied to tie the game on a bases clearing double by Joey McClintock.

The game ended there with the score all tied up 4-4.  Great Game by both the Tigers and Mets!
