What can I say? Today was a battle between the 1st place Astros and the 2nd place Giants. The Giants were led by bats that were on fire and a defense that could not be penetrated. Tim Haffner pitched 4 innings of outstanding baseball and Tyler Carr led the offesive charge going 2 for 2 and walking twice.

The Astros didn't go down quietly though. Even missing 3 key players. The Astros managed to keep the fans on the edge of their seats with a an impressive 6th inning charge. All in all it was another great game by Concord American Little Leaguers.
