Another close game by the Yankees and Red Sox that
finished in only an hour and a half!
The Red Sox scored one run in each of the 1st four innings -- the Yankees scored
5 in the 1st, 2 in the 3rd, and 1 in the 4th to take an 8-4 lead. Included in
the Yankee runs were two hits by Sid Stratton, Jack Noftzger, and James Pooler
and a hit by Nolan Brekle, Kevin Lara, and Alex Alvarado.
The other Yankees were hitting the ball as well and the Yankees only struck out
4 times the whole game!
The Red Sox closed the gap to 8-7 with 3 runs in the 5th inning and the Yankees
took a 10-7 lead with 2 more runs in the bottom of the 5th on a single by Max
Susanto, a double by Trever Rivera and a triple by Sid Stratton.
Nolan Brekle closed out the game with a scoreless 6th inning.
