The sun was out, no wind and the feeling of baseball in
the air. This is Little League baseball at it’s best.
The Mets picked up were they left off last game with great defense. Ryan Parisi
pitched in the first and had a one, two, three inning to lead off the Mets
defensive attack.
In the bottom of the first, James Cabral doubled and Antonio Alvarado singled in
Ryan to take a 0-1 lead.
In the top of the second, the Giants had Dalton Meredith, Ethan Angella and
Lauren Schmidt all single. Silas Vaughn doubled, scoring both Dalton and Ethan.
The Giants took the lead 2-1.
In the top of the third, Bryce Pamer singled but was stranded on base by the
Mets defense.
In the bottom of the third, the Mets came out to try and retake the lead. Josh
Burton, Ryan Parisi (second hit), James Cabral (second hit) and Andrei Ortega
all singled and Ryan scored to tie the game at 2-2.
In the top of the forth, the Giants came out swinging. Isaac Taylor had a lead
off double. Daniel Scott singled scoring Issac. Dalton Meredith singled scoring
Daniel. Ethan Angella (second hit) and Ciara Mendoza both singled to load the
bases. Lauren Schmidt (second hit) singled scoring Ethan. Joey Bursey reached
first on a fields choice that threw out Lauren and second. Silas Vaughn (second
hit) singled to score Ciara. The Giant retook the lead 7-2.
In the bottom of the forth, Mason Mendoza-Fansher singled but was let on base.
The Giants Bryce Pamer (second hit) and the Mets Victoria Scoffa both singled
but were left on base in the fifth inning.
