This was a break-out game for the Cardinals. Their bats finally came alive with 9 out of the 12 players getting at least one hit. The Red Sox were rallying in the bottom of the last inning and were within two runs of tieing the game when the game had to be stopped due to darkness. Fortunately for the Cardinals and unfortunately for the Red Sox. A great game by both teams.
