The Mets scored early and held off the late-charging A's to win 8-5. Zachary Foy pitched the first three innings, allowing just one run and one hit to earn the win. Nathan Horton had a triple and single with two RBI's and Brandon Peterson added a double and single and two RBI's. Joel Dodenhoff and Daniel Lopez each contributed a run-scoring single as well. For the A's, Zack Ramicone had two singles and Nicholas Bob had an RBI double.
