The Cardinals scored their first run in the bottom of
the first inning. Two more runs in the fourth and four more runs in the
sixth.
Justin Staton pitched the first four innings, Nick
Welsh pitched 2 innings and Jayme
Junta pitched the seventh inning to complete the shut out.
Nick Welsh & Bobby Morales did a great job behind the
plate picking off 3 would-be base stealers.
Jonathan Lesnansky & Corey Gilindo did
a great job shutting down their positions at third and short.
The whole team played well today as this was a much need
victory to keep the Cardinals in the hunt with the Concord Giants and the
Pittsburg Orioles.
