The Twins got their first win of the year! It was truly a team effort.
Brandon had 2 hits, including and RBI double in the second inning, struck
one out and threw to first for another out in the fifth inning. Max also
had 2 hits, including an RBI in the third inning and stopped a hard ground
ball at second and tagged out the A's runner in the first inning. Drake
and Michael also had RBI singles in the third inning for the Twins.
The Twins pitching was great also. Mykah struck out two batters and caught
a pop fly in two innings he pitched. Nicky held the A's scorless for two
innings, and 2 RBIs in the second, earning him the "game ball." Jenny,
Christopher B, Christopher H, and Connor also had hits for the Twins.
