Ricky Lloyd started for the Mets and threw 3 innings of 2 hit no run ball.
Brandon Peterson had also given up only 2 hits and no runs thru 2 innings
before running into a little trouble in the sixth.
The Mariners rallied for 3 runs and had the winning run on 2nd. Some
clutch singles and some problem pop-ups had the Mariners thinking comeback.
Mike Collodel was brought in with 2 outs to face the Mariners batter. The
count went to 3-2 before Mike zipped a fast ball by the hitter for the third
out and a 4 - 3 win.
Collodel also led the offense with 2 doubles and a run scored. Thomas Roccanova reached base twice and also scored a run.
For the Mariners Ryan Welsh pitched 5 innings giving up only 5 hits and
4 runs. Brandon Kearney, Gino Ginochio and Ben Davidson scored for the
Mariners.
