Mets batters pounded out 11 hits and 5 Mets players reached base multiple
times as the Mets avenged a March 24th loss and cruised to a 10 1 win over
he Mariners.
Brandon Peterson led the way, reaching base 4 times and scored 3 runs.
Justin Chisholm walked twice and scored twice. Mike Collodel, Ricky Montoya,
Ricky Medrano, Ricky Lloyd and Nathan Horton completed the scoring. Multiple
hit Mets were Horton, Lloyd, Collodel and Peterson.
Lloyd scattered 3 hits and struck out 4 in 3 innings for the win while Thomas
Rocconova and Ricky Medrano kept the Mariners scoreless for the last three
frames.
Devin Knoll homered deep over the left field fence for the
Mariners run. Ryan Welsh added a double.
