The girls played Alameda Cardinals in Alameda. The score was 14-4 Alameda. The parents felt that this was the most exciting game they had seen yet and the Cardinals even commented how well the girls played for being a new team. Ashley O'Brien and Katherine Carlos had a beautiful double play in the first inning. Erica Straun ( first at bat ) started the games momentum with her 2 base hit and stealing third and home for the first run of the game. Katherine Carlos and Samantha Bewley also stole thier way home in the second inning.
