We played the Pinole Furber Saw tonight and had our best game yet. We lost but only by 3 points. The final score was 10-7. Pinole had 5 runs the first inning then we held them off not allowing any more runs until the 6th inning. Kayleen Carney had a good night pitching the entire game with 7 strike outs and 7 walks out of 35 at bats. Three of Pinoles girls were picked off attempting to steal bases by Samantha Bewley and April Dendinger. Ashley O'Brien had an outstanding 3 base hit into left field then stole home in the 5th inning. Nikki Ellingboe ( first time player with a late start due to an injury) had her first hit, stole second and third then came in to score off an error by the catcher. We would also like to mention and thank Rich Eber who has umpired our home games and we are very grateful to have his help.
