Concord American rebounded from a tough defeat to Clayton Valley to beat Antioch West LL, by a score of 10 - 3. Led by the 8 strike out, 4 hit, 5 walk performance from Corey Galindo which included a 3 for 4 night at the plate and a 3 for 3, 3 RBI job from Bobby Morales, CALL opened a close game in the 4th inning and never looked back.

Strong defense from John Mendoza behind the plate snuffed out a potential AWLL rally in the 5th inning, when a throw from first baseman Michael Rule cut down a AWLL runner trying to steal home.  Christian Saylor added a 2 for 2 night and Connor Harrington doubled and drove in one to help the cause.
