The game was close early on.  Both teams scored five runs in the first inning as the starting pitchers struggled.  Relivers came in for both teams and slowed the opposing batters to keep the game close.  The Giant's batters had a few more solid hits to extend their lead.  Both closing pitchers were excellent. Jack Loflin of the Braves gave up only one run in his first inning and sruck out three in a row in the final inning. Lucas Casillis also fanned the batters to close the game with a win for the Giants.
