Behind the strong relief pitching of Diego Menard, the Red Sox outlasted the Mariners 10-9. Nolan King provided a clutch 2 out single and Andres Avila had 2 hits including a triple. Eddie Curley had 3 hits, knocked in 6 runs and turned an unassisted double play for the Red Sox. Nathan Green caught an outstanding defensive game for the Mariners.
