Wow! Opening Day 2010 was awesome. I have to tell you, after the weather on Friday I more than half expected to have to postpone activities but we were blessed with a great day!

I want to take a moment just to thank everyone that helped to make this day a success! It takes hundreds of people to make this day a success. As a board we get it done, but if it was not for all of you volunteering on opening day, it would not work.
Thank you to everyone for participating in the Hit-A-Thon. Every time I looked over, I saw whole teams participating. I know Gil will have a report to make on the numbers of players that participated and the pledges brought in, but I just wanted to mention how awesome it was to see the number of kids over there, and say thank you to Bank of the West for matching our kids pledges.

Thank you to Gil & Cindy for their dedication to the Hit-a-thon over the last several years. Our Hit-A-Thon plays a large part in offsetting our Opening Day expenses.

Also a big thank you to Craig Dashner and his team. The BBQ was delicious!

Keep checking the website...we have many opening day photos coming up! If you have pictures, please email them to me at callauxiliary@yahoo.com and we will get them online.

LOST & FOUND
We are looking for a brand new phone a - GRAVITY 2 METALLIC ORANGE. We are hoping that someone saw it and picked it up for safe keeping. If you picked up the phone, can you please turn it in to either snack shacks and we will return it to it's owner.

If you lost anything on opening day, visit the Galindo snack shack for items left.

FINALLY

It is not too late to sponsor one of our teams. We still need quite a few sponsors. Look on the web for our sponsorship packet and application. If you would like to support our league contact Nicki Fife, Sponsorship Director at 925.766.5801.
