Yankees took a 3 run lead in the first inning only to have the Mets bats come alive in the second to go ahead 6 to 3. With only 5 hits allowed and 9 strikeouts, pitchers Brandon Abon and Eli Bergen set up the win for the Mets. Mets offence was lead by Vince Ceja going 3 for 3 with a walk and Mitchell Dean going 2 for 3 with 2 walks. Yankees highlights include recently called up Minor Leaguer, Matthew Herin, who lead the game off with a double and Nicky Lloyd going 2 for 3 with a double.
