In one of the best played games of the year, the Rockies edged the Mets 3-1. There was outstanding pitching on both sides and several great defensive plays. Nathan Jenkins pitched a complete game for the Rockies, striking out 12 and allowing just one hit. Jack Miller had a strong start for the Mets and Eli Bergen was sharp in relief.
