Nathan Jenkins pitched 5 shutout innings, stuck out 13 and allowed just one hit for the winning Rockies. The Yankees battled back in the sixth with 2 runs but the rally fell short. Aaron Byrd pitched one inning for the Rockies, striking out 3. Christian Bates led the Yankees with an RBI single and struck out 9 in 3-1/3 strong innings. Nick Lloyd added a single for the Yanks. The Rockies attack was led by Nick Nunez with 2B 3B 2RBI/ Forrest Steele 2B RBI. Jenny Morgan and Ryan Bean each added an RBI.
