The Yankee offense finished strong in this final game of the season. The Yankees took a 9-1 lead through 2 innings with several walks along with singles by Alex Alvarado and Nolan Brekle and a triple by Sid Stratton. Strong pitching by Miles Harrison kept the Angels to just 1 run.

Both teams remained scoreless in the 3rd inning, then the Yankees took a 14-1 lead in the 4th inning with singles by Alex Alvarado and Sid Stratton and a triple by Miles Harrison. Also, Nolan Brekle, Ricky Coleman, and Brandon Rosemont each took one for the team by getting hit with a pitch. Jack Noftzger kept the Angels to only 1 run in 2 innings.

After the Angels kept the Yankees scoreless in the 5th inning, they came back with 5 runs on several excellent hits to make it 14-7.

The Yankees scored 4 more runs in the 6th inning, which included several walks, Nolan getting hit for the 2nd time in the game, and a single by Michael Solero. Nolan Brekle then finished off the game with a scoreless inning of pitching.

Thanks to the Angels for their positive attitude throughout the game, which was evident through their 5th inning comeback. Great season Yankees!
