The Astros were on fire today! Mason Knight started the game off with an inside the park homerun. This was just the beginning. Chris Carr hit another inside the park homerun bringing in 3 runs. When Chris was up to bat again he hit a striking grand slam. That's a total of 7 runs on 2 hits. Jordan Latini also hit a homerun. Jenny Morgan hit a 2 run single then an RBI double.

Brevin started our pitchers out with an immaculate performance and multiple strike outs. Next to pitch was Jenny Morgan, she had an outstanding performance on the mound with many strike outs as well. Mason Knight then took the mound and struck out the next 6 batters to finish the game.

Despite a lopsided score the Angels still managed to stay positive throughout the entire game. Good defensive effort by Mikey McMurdo turning a double play in the infield. Drake Pugaczewski also performed with excellent efforts in the outfield. The pitcher Nicholas Perry pitched a great game and also turned a double play in the 3rd inning.

All of our thoughts go out to Cole Phelps as he sustained a wrist injury while at bat. We hope everything turns out okay.
