The Mets scored six runs early in the game and held
off the Cardinals 12-2. Zachary Foy pitched the first three shutout innings,
allowing no hits, to earn the win. Ricky Montoya and Nathan Horton combined to
hold the Cards to two hits, a double by Roberto Hurtado and a single by Daniel
Golden. The Mets tallied 11 hits, led by Hortons' three singles and two RBI's.
Brandon Peterson added two singles, 2 RBI's and two runs and Montoya also had
two singles. Other singles in the game were delivered by Will Bonnington, Daniel
Lopez, Ryan Bidwell, and Zachary Foy who also had three RBI's.
