For the Giants, Douglas Cherry II pitched a complete
game, six innings, striking out 8 batters and also had two hits and scored
twice. Joe Fishbaugh hit a three run Homerun out of the park in the first
inning. Martin Borrosov had a two run double and made two key defensive
plays at third base.Justin Baumgartner proved that he is the best defensive
catcher in the league by saving at least four runs on possible past balls on
the auxillary field diamond. The Giants overcame a 5-9 deficit to win 14-12.
That makes the Giants record 12-3 on the season.
