Alex Cummings pitched 5 and a half strong
innings for the Angels. The Astros had great
hits by many of their players and always kept
the Angels on their toes. The Angels responded
with equally great hitting. Jose Maravillo
closed the game at the bottom of the sixth
inning with the Astros threatening with 2 outs
and bases loaded. Jose struck out the final
batter ending the game with a score of 7 to 4.
