The Mets' bats came alive in the 14-3
victory over the Blue Jays. Nathan Horton had three hits,
including a double, three RBI's and three runs scored. Brandon
Peterson had four hits, including two doubles, two RBI's and
three runs. Ryan Bidwell had a triple, and Weston Peters-Ring,
Zachary Foy, Austin Bodily, and Joel Dodenhoff all had RBI
singles for the Mets. Fine defensive plays were turned in by
Tommy Lopez and Andrew Robles. Peterson pitched five strong
innings, striking out four with no walks. Will Bonnington
pitched a one-two-three sixth to secure the win. For the Blue
Jays, Lucas Dunne had a double and single, Kevin Graham doubled,
and Brandon Kearney, Logan Bangert, Devin Knoll, and Sean
Goodrich all had singles.
