Great pitching and defensive game by both teams after being at the ballpark all day long for Player Appreciation Day.  Marcel Avers, Parker Burr, and Mason Knight of the Yankees held the Giants to only 2 runs in 6 innings.  The Giants pitchers held the Yankees down as well until they were able to break through in the bottom of the 4th.  Game ball went to Marcel Avers for great pitching and two hits.
