A very tight game between these two familiar opponents early in the
season. Lots of offense for both sides including a triple by the Jays
Nick Horning. Nick also layed down a beautiful bunt in the 5th but only
the exceptional play of tyler Wagner at Pitcher and Nolan Brekle at 1st
were able to get him by a half step.
The pitching of Dylan Parisi and Brain Roberts help to slow the Jays
offense in the 2nd and 4th innings and Tyler Wagner closed out the
pitching with a quick 5th. Alex Alvarado had 2 hits to lead the A's
offense. Other standouts for the Jays were Julie Cohn with another great
game at catcher and pitchers Grant Ganguet and Josh Wiens, and I have to
mention the great slide by Jenny Morgan at home to plate a run for the
Jays.
