The Yankees started off fast by scoring 5 runs in each of the first 2 innings enroute to a 15 to 12 victory. The Yankees were led in the hitting by Alex Bates who had 2 singles & a 3-run triple, followed by Justin Baumgartner, Andrew Sullivan & Codey Bertlin who each had 1 hit. But the big hit for the Yankees was by Ammiel Ocampo who hit a GRAND SLAM in the 4th inning to finish out the scoring.

              

For the Indians the big hitter was Cory Berg who hit a double & 3 singles to lead the hitting attack. The Indians also had great hitting from Tyler Pendley who had a triple & 2 singles followed by Andrew Robles with 3 singles, Jose Maravillo who had a double & single & Halley Hogen who had 2 singles.

The Indians did make the game close by scoring 5 runs in there half of the 5th inning but the Yankees came away with a 15-12 victory. Good job by all the kids from both teams
