The Yankees came out
scoring early with 3 runs in the 1st inning with walks to Codey & Alex,
followed by base hits by Ammiel & Andrew. The A's followed with 1 run in
their half of the 1st with a walk to Dominic who stole 2nd base and a base
hit by Erik.
In the 2nd inning,
the Yankees scored 5 runs and held the A's scoreless in their half.
In the 3rd inning the
Yankees scored on a great bunt single by Codey and a triple by Alex. The A's
did not score in their half of the 3rd.
In the 4th the
Yankees started with a walk to Nick & a bunt single by Kenny to put runners
in scoring position. Joey came to the plate and hit a double followed by a
single by Jemuel. The A's bounced right back to score 2 runs in their half
of the 4th with a walk to Dominic followed with base hits by Erik & David.
The Yankees finished
the scoring in the game in the 5th with a single by Alex to start the inning
followed by walks to Ammiel, Andrew, Sooner Daniel and Nick then a base hit
by Kenny.
The pitchers for both
teams did a good job as the Yankees Alex & Daniel combined to strike-out 11
batters & the A's pitchers combined to strike-out 7 batters.
