Both teams came out fast in the first inning with the Red Sox scoring 3 runs & the Yankees coming back to score 5 runs in their half of the inning. In the second inning the Red Sox were held scoreless while the Yankees scored 5 more runs. In the Third the Red Sox started to make a come back, with Aaron Thatcher hitting a 3 run double to bring the Sox closer with a 10-6 score. The Yankees bounced back with 5 runs again, highlighted by Steve Conway hitting a triple and solid base running by the rest of the team.
              
Yankees starting pitcher Alex Bates had 9 strike-outs while Cody Bertlin came in for relief and recorded 5 strike-outs and only giving up 1 run.
              
Hitting highlights for the Red Sox included Landon with 2 hits, followed by Aaron, Sean & Trent with one hit each.
              
For the Yankees, Steve Conway & Jemuel Adams had 2 hits each, followed by Alex, Ammiel & Cody with 1 hit each.
