One of the first games of the season got off to a slow start for the Indians and Tigers.
The Indians, Johanna Rivera and Cory Berg, pulled out 2 hits in the 1st. The Indians then showed their ability to compete with 5 runs scoring in the 3rd. They also scored another run in the bottom of the 5th, but it wasn’t enough to take the lead.
After producing only 1 hit in the 1st inning and none in the 2nd the Tigers came alive in the 4th inning scoring 5 runs and 2 more in the 5th to pull ahead and win the game.
