The Angels scored 4 runs in the 2nd inning and 6 more in the 3rd and held on to beat the Cardinals 11 - 9. Bobby Morales, Marcelo Tolosa and Kyle Lubkin each scored twice while Drew Farley singled and doubled, scored once and had a good day behind the plate for the Angels. Andy Rouse and Bobby Morales also doubled. Bobby Morales picked up the save with 2 scoreless innings, striking out 4.
 
Kevin Chase led the Cardinals offense with 2 doubles and 4 RBI's.
