In the first inning Rockies Jordan Chin fielded the ball and threw it to 2nd baseman John Mikhael Ancheta for the out.  The Pirates made one run in. The bottom of the 1st inning brought some great plays with Jordan Chin hitting a line drive down the third base line to get a double and later making it home off of Matthew Hollenbeck’s nice hit.

In the 2nd inning the Pirates made two runs to pull into the lead.  In the top of the 3rd inning Rockies Brandon Goodrich’s spectacular catch of a Pirates pop fly was the first out.   Then came Andrew Mavrakos who struck out a batter, then fielded the ball of the next batter and threw it to firstbaseman Matthew Hollenbeck for the third out.

The Rockies Third inning tied the score with Andrew Mavrakos’ double RBI’d Brandon Goodrich home and Matthew Holenbeck’s RBI’d Jordan Chin in. The Pirates thirdbaseman Mico Villarama caught John Mikhael Ancheta’s powerful line drive hit for an out. The top of the 4th inning proved to be great fielding for the Rockies with Jordan Chin throwing to firstbaseman Andrew Mavrakos for the out, and thirdbaseman John Mikhael Ancheta catching a blistering Pirates line drive.  In the bottom of the 4th inning Jacob Bursey’s double lined him up to make the winning run off of Tanner Pirslin’s game winning single.
