The Giants had their best hitting game of the year amassing 12 hits in defeating the Cardinals 11-4. Quincy Conn led the charge with two doubles and a single, Daniel Golden belted two triples, Kevin Kennedy added three singles, and Ryan Nordlie, Devin McNally, and Brandon Peterson contributed singles. Peterson and Golden held the Cards scoreless in their four innings of work, striking out 11 and walking no one, allowing a sixth inning single to Clifford Henry.
