Mikie Bottini struck out 4 and allowed only 2 runs for the win and Bobby Morales struck out 7 in 3 innings for the save in an Angels 4 ­ 2 win over the Cardinals.
 
The offensive leader was Andy Rouse who singled twice and had 1 RBI while Drew Farley singled and scored a run. Victor Alcala-Kellogg reached base 4 times and scored one and Steven Dye walked twice and also scored. Zack Ramicone rounded out the scoring after drawing a walk.
 
Conor Harrington and Christian Kaplan led the Cardinals with 3 and 2 singles, respectively, while each scored once.
