Seth Chatterley, in his first start of the year, pitched 3 2/3rds shutout ball allowing only 3 hits. Kevin Goodrich and Mikie Bottini completed the shutout allowing only one more hit and the Angels beat the Yankees 15-0.
 
Ray Buford, Michael Lord, Connor Knoll and Chatterley tripled, Matt Roby and Drew Farley doubled and Bobby Morales, Nick Tkachenko, Cameron Carlos, Chatterley, Buford, Roby and Knoll scored multiple times to balance the Angels offense.
 
Bradshaw, Perry and Smith had hits for the Yankees.
