With the division championship on the line, the Cardinals put together a solid team effort to cap off an exciting week of league competition.  Josh Keane had 2 hits, 2 RBI's and scored 3 times.  David Reid added 3 RBI's and Kevin Chase's hard hit RBI double in the second inning helped the Cards jump out to the early lead.  The key to the victory was the 3 strong innings on the mound by Shaun Duckworth.  Shaun pitched out of a tough bases loaded one out situation in the 3rd by striking out the last 2 batters in the inning.
 
Andrew Gartner of the Mets drove in all of their runs with an RBI double in the 1st and a mammoth 2 run homer in the 5th.  Jonathon Adams and Mike Colledel each had hits for the Mets and Jamie Junta put in a solid effort on the mound.
 
Congratulations to the Cardinals.  They will continue on to play in the District 4 Tournament as the representitive of CALL Major Division.
