The Angels held on to defeat the Mariners 8 - 6. The Angels opened up an 8 - 0 lead before the Mariners fought their way back.  Nick Tkachenko struck out the last batter in the 5th leaving the bases loaded while Matt Roby, who relieved Tkachenko, duplicated the feat in the 6th.

Nick Tkachenko scattered 8 hits while pitching 5 innings.  He also went 2 for 4 with a double and scored twice. Bobby Morales and Michael Lord each also had 2 hits and scored once and twice, respectively.  Mikie Bottini, Seth Chatterley and Matt Roby also scored for the Angels.

For the Mariners, Brody Osbourne pitched 3, one hit innings, in relief of Michael Trade, surrendering 1 run. Jade Thornock and Nick Welsh each doubled and scored.
