Matt Roby struck out 7, scattered 7 hits and was 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI's to lead the Angels to a 4 - 3 win over the Mets. Mikie Bottini reached base 3 times and scored twice while Cameron Carlos chipped in 2 hits to help the offensive effort. Ray Buford stole home in the 4th to put the Angels in the lead for good. Nick Tkachenko closed out Mets with a scoreless 6th inning.
 
Andrew Gartner doubled twice and went the distance for the Mets striking out 11. John Mendoza, Gabe Sutton and Kyle DeBacker rounded out the Mets offense.
