Buford, Lord, Goodrich, Farley and Morales scattered 8 hits while the Angels collected 14 and beat the Yankees 11-7. Tkachenko and Roby with 3 hits each and Casillas, Lord and Bottini with 2 each led the attack.  Morales and Knoll had the other hits.

The Angels were coasting 11-3 when the Yankees closed the gap with 4 runs in the 6th. Bobby Morales came on with 1 on and 1 out and closed the door by getting 2 4-3 ground outs.

Goodrich, in his first major division appearance struck out 1 and allowed 2 runs in his inning of work.  Ryan Perry had 3 RBI's on a 6th inning triple and scored himself when the Angels defense fell asleep. Nick Bradshaw, Mario Duran and Anthony Wychek had 2 hits apiece. Mario Duran allowed 1 run on 3 hits in
his 3 innings of work.
