Joey Horvot of the Cardinals a solid game coming within 2 strikes of pitching a no hit game. The Mariners Ryan Welsh knocked a hard hit to left to brake up the no hit bid.  Later in the sixth Karlin Mayberry had a 2 run triple and Sean Flannery pushed 2 across with a hit for the Mariners.

Horvot also had a good game offensively going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's and 3 runs scored. David Reid went 3 for 4 with 4 RBI's and Willie Rego had a clutch 2 out hit for 2 RBI's for the Cards.
