Opening Day was a huge success. What a wonderful experience for all! It was so nice to see so many families attend. Thank you to everyone who participated and work so very hard, from the Opening Day committee, to Phil our D.J., to all the many volunteers and all our special guests, who made sure that this was the best Opening Day we ever had. Congratulations to all of our raffle winners and to Pepsi for donating the 2 mountain bikes and also to SBC Pac Bell for donating the Kings/Warrior tickets that were won.

Thank -you

C.A.L.L. Board of Directors

We ask for everyone's cooperation in observing the posted speed limits at both ball fields at all times. We would not want to have any unfortunate accidents.

Upcoming Events

Tommy T's Night: Saturday May 18th starting at 5:30p.m.

Little League Day at the A's: Sunday June 9th

Managers, please remember to attend the first board meeting of each month. This is mandatory!!! The next meeting is: Thursday May 2nd  @ 8:00p.m.

All board meetings are open to everyone. We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at Concord High School, room #210. These meetings are usually at 6:30 p.m. but because the games have started, we will be meeting at 8:00 p.m. through June.

Thank you Mike Dahlquist for the excellent job that you have done with the fields and to everyone who has helped with the work parties. Remember that these are the 3rd Saturday of every month at both fields from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you can give an hour or two please come on out and lend a hand.

Please visit our snack shacks at both fields. We have added several new items to our menu. Kathy Sheehan has worked very hard to make sure that there is plenty to choose from and enjoy. We also have added sno cone machines at both shacks which will be a wonderful treat especially when the weather gets warmer.

Roster books will be ready to hand out this Saturday at both fields. Managers please make sure that you have your Team Mom or another representative ready to pick them up. If no one will be available at that time, please contact me, Mary Bishop @ 686-0663 to make other arrangements.
